The goal of Hanzi Explorer is to make Chinese easier to understand for English-speaking readers. Articles focus on meaning, pronunciation, tone, usage, literary context, and practical reading help rather than on keyword stuffing or low-value repetition.
2. How Articles Are Prepared
- Articles may use AI-assisted drafting, followed by automated checks for structure, completeness, duplicate topics, and source consistency.
- New classical-poetry guides use a stored source record containing the poem title, attributed author, and original Chinese text. The explanatory prose remains educational commentary and may still require correction.
- Vocabulary pages include independent dictionary links so readers can compare definitions and usage.
- Posts may be reorganized or revised after publication to improve clarity, examples, or accuracy.
- Short summaries, homepage titles, and featured labels may be edited separately to improve navigation and readability.
3. Corrections and Updates
If an article contains an error, unclear wording, or a translation issue, readers are encouraged to report it by email. We review reasonable correction requests and update pages when appropriate.
When a page is materially revised, the visible updated date on the article may change to reflect the newer version.
4. Usefulness Over Volume
Hanzi Explorer aims to publish pages that help readers understand a word, poem, or idea more clearly. Publishing schedules are intentionally limited so source quality, internal connections, and corrections take priority over volume.
